12Jul1930 Honoring VA’s 96th Birthday is an important milestone in our history. President Herbert Hoover signed the executive order that created what we now know as the Department of Veterans Affairs. For 96 years, VA grew, changed, and adapted to better serve those who serve our country. From its early days to today, VA’s mission remains clear: to care for Veterans, their families, caregivers, and survivors. Every advancement is rooted in that promise.

The use of carpools and Uber/Lyft is encouraged. If the parking lots are full, consider parking at the Sky Train parking lot 0.5 mile away. No bags are allowed into the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center. This includes bags for equipment, musical instruments, purses, backpacks and camera bags. Wallets, cell phones and cameras are permitted.
